Name and Logo Usage Rights

I. Name(s) and Usage Rights:

METU Aerospace Students Society is a structuring founded at Middle East Technical University (METU). It performs its all events within Office of Cultural Affairs of METU. METU Aerospace Students Society is also a member of EUROAVIA (European Association of Aerospace Students) and known there as EUROAVIA Ankara. Thus, the official names of society: “METU Aerospace Students Society”, “EUROAVIA Ankara”, Turkish name “ODTÜ Havacılık ve Uzay Topluluğu” and its abbreviation “ODTÜ HUT” can not be used by any other person, association or institution.

II. Logo(s) and Usage Rights:

METU Aerospace Students Society uses logo # 1 in its local and national events. logo # 1 is designed in Turkish. It’s a bird's eye-view depiction of a delta wing pictured on a blue phon and orange circle.

METU Aerospace Students Society uses logo # 2 in international events within EUROAVIA, with the name “EUROAVIA Ankara”.

Society can use both of the logos together in every introductory material and incorporate identity product of it. Neither of the logos can be used with any purpose without the permission of the administrative board of the society.

III. Institutional Colors:

The institutional colors of METU Aerospace Students Society are orange and blue, as can be seen in logo # 1. Orange symbolizes adventurism whereas blue symbolizes experience, sky and flying.

Moreover, society uses green, which is the institutional color of EUROAVIA, in international events with the name “EUROAVIA Ankara”.
